Downloaded a bunch of the Avengers recs. I agree with your We Are All Diamonds and In Spite of Everything, the Stars recs. I just finished the latter yesterday and thought the author did a particularly good job with their backstories. I think I may have read a few more of the Merlin ones but I'm rather awful with titles and authors so I'm not sure.
