I just finished reading this book and I absolutely loved it! :) I really can't wait to read the next two books in the series. :) Um normally I'd have more to say but all I want to do is squee. I had to order the book from Amazon.uk. and it was well worth the money. I happened to love the Horatio Hornblower series and the Midshipman Hope series and now I get a naval fantasy adventure. :) There are very few series that incorporate dragons into the story this well. Robin Hobb's Farseer and the Deverry series are just two great examples that I can think of at the moment. (never really cared for the Dragonflight series)

I loved the main character the dragons the way the story is set up. There was plenty of action and moments with great character development. I like war books and this one met my expectations and rose above them. :)
