sadly, I've tried this before but a lot of what I do also involves a mouse...however I think it bears further experimentation. :) I don't think I need the mouse right next to the keyboard..seriouslly if they wanted us to work more efficiently they would have provided more ergonomic desks and keyboards and mousepads.
