i'm great at wasting time
I just spent 2 hours trying to figure out why I'm unable to access my demonoid account. Actually, I can't see anything at the website and apparently other people are able to the site but for some reason it's just not working for me. The only thing I've done in the past month that could have possibly affected my access on my end is switching our router to a new wireless router. But I'm not sure how that could have affected my ability to enter the site. I wish if the site were having technical difficulties they'd send a mass email to all registered users so we know what's going on.
a few days ago they opened the site up for open registrations but apparently that crashed something, so maybe they are still trying to fix the problem. My tracker still works for supernatural season 1 dvd rips.
At this point i'm just going to have to let this go and maybe do more research later.
While Doctor Who is downloading I'm going to hit the gym. I still got another hour and half and I haven't gotten anything else done today that's considered constructive.
in happier news...
Last night I went to Barnes and Nobles, discovered Katharine Kerr has released new books in her Deverry Series, so I picked up the first in the new trilogy and now I kind of want to re-read and catch up, hopefully by the time I'm done the second book in the trilogy will be in paperback format or I can buy it from the Sony Connect Bookstore. (I really wish I could browse this bookstore not using the stupid sony crap software)
There's also a new book for Laurell K Hamilton and apparently there is no sex for the first 100 pages, sounds promising. I've been burned too often on her newest books so I'm getting on the queue at the library to check it out.
Carol Berg has also released a new book but...it's in one of those bigger soft paperbacks that just don't fit on bookshelves easily. I looked for Entanglements by Martha Wells...this looks like a book I may need to get from amazon.com.
