I was also amused that for "straight" guys they had some rather kinky sex during this long game of gay chicken. All in all, this story had emotional impact and it made me cry.

Mikkeneko - Rise From Ash INSTANT REC!!! I loved Loki's character voice, the concept, and this was so tragic and sad but it also did a great job of explaining what happened after Loki fell off the Rainbow bridge.

Mhalachai - A Widow's Tale INSTANT REC!!! I could not stop reading once I started. This is easily one of my favorite crossover fics I've read in over a year. The character voices worked for me, I loved the concept, the plot was interesting and I'm looking forward to future stories in this series.

I very much enjoy your recs. Anytime I'm low on reading material, I know I can check your pinboard for anything that says "Instant Rec" in a fandom I know, and I'll enjoy that story.

I have considered getting into Teen Wolf and SGA in order to read more of your recs, but I'm still holding out on those. (Is Yuletide season. No time for new canons.)

Thanks for the feedback! :) It's a tough call between SGA and Teen Wolf if you want to give it more consideration after Yuletide. I couldn't give a recommendation of one over the other because I love both shows/fics for different reasons.

If I had to pick one, I'd go with SGA; I know there are swarms of awesome fic for it and the fandom isn't overrun with emo teenager shipwars. But I don't think I'll get to pick one; I'll eventually watch a few episodes and see if one of them grabs me. (SGA is more likely than Teen Wolf; I have no affinity for werewolves.)

SGA is so much fun, at least the earlier seasons (just my opinion) and the fic is great. :) If you have no love for werewolves...not sure if Teen Wolf would work for you. Though as a not fan of werewolves the show took me by surprise. I didn't expect to like it.
