Flist help????

Hi,

I think I've officially run across one of the most confusing Master Posts I've seen in years. I was hoping someone on my flist may have a single file version of the story in chronological order.

5x Spock melded w/Kirk & 1x Kirk melded w/Spock

I ask because it's 30k words in 20 parts on LJ and the only way to make sure you've downloaded it in the correct order seems to be following the Next Section link at the bottom of each post not the Next Meld link.

hahahaha holy moly WHAT THE HELL. I thought I'd seen some confusing navigation before, but that really takes the cake.

I think I figured it out after staring at the table for a while, and actually it made sense once it clicked into perspective, but I've never seen someone break down and CATEGORIZE a story into its component parts quite like that before.

Edit: If you're still having trouble, I guess I should explain what it looks like to me - you read across each line, then down to the next line, and across. It's just five or six separate storylets, each of which is broken into premeld + meld + postmeld scenes. But it's still odd, IMHO.

I know! I've never seen anything this odd before. What's worse when I asked the author for help she wasn't able to help. :(

But yeah I think I can go across. It's just I normally merge stories before reading them and when I tried on this one I felt like I was going cross-eyed. If that makes any sense.
