cockroaches

amalthiaMy husband keeps bringing back cockroaches when he goes out on the boat to check out oil rigs. The first time he did that I made him clean out his suitcase before he came inside...well last time he returned home and I wasn't here so he didn't empty his suitcase outside. Therefore, another roach managed to worm it's way inside our apartment.
Now he's trying to say that it's the neighbors and a coincidence that the two times he returned home and didn't clean his suitcase out (outside our apartment) not a day or two later we found a roach in our bathroom. Anyway, he managed to kill the little sucker and I hope that's the only one. He wasn't as freaked out by the roach as me, but then again he never stepped on one that was inside his shoe, or had one fall on his head from the ceiling, or found one in a box of cereal...He said he'll try to remember to do the suitcase thing next time... I figure if he keeps forgetting I'm going to end up waking him up to kill any and all roaches I find.
Anyway, considering he returned from a boat swarming with roaches I'm placing the blame for this one on him. If he had checked the suitcase like we normally do it, then we'd know for sure if it was the neighbors or not.
