Veronica Mars again

I just realized something about VM last night before I fell asleep. This show really reminds me of an anime series called Hana Yori Dango, in a good way and without all the violins in the background.

I loved the anime Hana Yori Dango, I mean once I found out it's about a lower class girl that gets a scholarship (based on her test scores) to a prestigious school where only the super wealthy go I was intrigued. the story was a lot of fun and kind of sad at the same time because the girl gets hazed when she makes enemies out of the four most popular boys in the school, but then one of those boys ends up falling in love with her and she's in love with another guy and about 52 episodes later, she realizes she loves the boy that also loves her even though he was a real bastard when they first met.

Anyway, now I'm going to try watching the anime again too...

Domiyoji was a real bastard right up to the end of the series. Makino just sort of realized he's more interesting (and available) than pretty Rui. Though she did seem to bring out the gayer side of Rui, did you notice that? As they became closer, Rui seemed a bit... gayer. XDDDDDDD

lol I love that series too! I want to see again now. Might catch Veronica Mars too. I mean, it's a must if it's like HYD. What channel gives that show? Do they dance on trash cans in the OP theme too? XDDDD

lol, it's been so long since I've seen Hana Yori Dango, I'm downloading the DVD rips now to watch again. I'm not sure what channel is showing VM, I downloaded all of season 1 and will download episodes of season 2.

Yeah I didn't really like Rui that much, he was SO BORING. I really liked Domiyoiji a lot, even when I hated him, I still liked his character because he was interesting and I wanted to know more about him.
