It's finally Saturday and I now have time to update my journal. :)

I've been busy with work this last week and helping around the house. I feel like i live on a farm where the chores never end. Except instead of milking cows I'm always putting away new stuff my mom buys and clean up after her. Hmm maybe I'm more like a house elf. However, can't be too negative, a lot of house cleaning is still better than coming up with 700 in rent each month.

anyway, I'm still editing parts 1-4 of spellbound, finished with part 1 about five minutes ago. Now I just need to find a beta reader. It seems like I changed a lot of sentences around...but my grammar check says I still have 1% passive voice sentences. grrr I don't think that's a good sign. It's even worse that I'm not quite sure how to find the passive voice sentences.

Yesterday I read a book while I was at work called the "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens." Sort of wish I owned the book so I can go back to as reference. I feel as though I need to implement some changes in my life to become a happier person, that also makes those around me happier. :)

Today we are leaving to go to Waco to do some more shopping and maybe see a movie. I'm not too distraught over the thought of shopping this time since we are going to Altex to buy computer parts to build my mom and brother a new computer.

My mom's old computer is still a mess that I can't figure out. So mom now wants a new computer. I feel like I should tell her to buy a brand new one so I don't have the responsibilty of fucking up again. I already apologized to my mom and she doesn't seem too upset that I can't seem to get her computer working again. I worked on it for 4 days straight almost.

I think that's everything.

Bad News

Well this is sort of bad and good news. The good news is I finally got a response from the Law School which I applied to, the bad news is that I was rejected. grrrr now I knew i had a good chance of getting rejected, I hear most people apply to 10-12 schools before getting accepted. :( Which is expensive.

So now I know for the time being Law school isn't in my future and I can go on to plan b. :)

Not sure what plan b is yet...but I'll figure it out. ^_^

P.S. Did not get to see Hellboy tonight. :(
