Does this make me a bad person?

The author obsessed1 was very CLEAR about saying no one has permission to merge her story into a single file or turn it into a PDF or word doc.

For some reason her statement really made me want to go merge the story, take a screencap of the single file PDF and Word Doc (and ebook versions because no way would I go through the effort without making an ebook version), and email the screencap to her!

I felt like a rather bad person for being so tempted. Because really seriously? It's one thing to not offer a single file version for your readers because it is the author's choice as to how they want to present their fic. It's another thing to give orders to readers on how to read the story.

Um other than that the story actually looks quite interesting. I'll read it once I get it on my ebook reader after converting it to a single file Word doc, then to HTML, and from there epub and LRF.

Vacation Day 9

In other news, I have horrible horrible allergies for the last two days. I went through an entire box of tissues. Clariton-D 12 hour isn't really stopping my nose from running at all. So I've been feeling a bit icky. Having said that I am having fun. Today I helped my dad out in the yard setting up a fence around their wood pile stacks so the dogs don't climb under and get all dirty. I went swimming, read a bit, hung out with my brother, niece, and sister-in-law. My niece is the sweetest girl and she has a good set of lungs on her. I could hear her from outside when my brother and sister-in-law put her down for a nap. She did not want to nap at all!

I also had a blast watching the new Star Trek movie with my dad. He was so funny because I know he'd seen the movie before but then at the start of the movie he asked me how did the Romulans get such an advanced ship? I'm thinking he must have slept through the movie the first time he saw it, or had completely forgotten the plot. But it was fun. :)

Tomorrow morning my dad heads to Louisiana for work, my brother and sister-in-law are heading back to San Angelo, and my mom starts working at the school preparing for middle school to start the following week. It's going to be weird with a mostly empty house the last week of our vacation.

I think the only thing we have planned for tomorrow is going to the Comal Park tube shoot and if my grandmother is up for a visit stop by her home for a visit.

The only other weird thing from this vacation is that I spent hours and I mean HOURS preparing all these fan fiction stories to read on my Sony PRS over my vacation. I have not read a single story! Instead I'm now on book 9 of the Charlene Harris Southern Vampires series. I can't put these books down once I start.
