I filled out a poll that asked if I had used Joule and not knowing what it was I googled the term and found the LJ related link...entered my name and got the results.

For some reason it's just better not knowing who unfriends you. normally I really don't check my userinfo for friends or not friends...and basically a few people (okay more than a few) unfriended me. I'm okay with that, I unfriend people too. but now I'm curious! Chances are their reasons are the same as mine for unfriending...not a lot of time and diverging interests...

anyway going to have to let this one go and not use Joule again because I can think of all these what if senarios and it doesn't do me any good.

And so I had to go try it didn't I! You're right though, it seems best not to know.

I'm pretty sure I'd done it before anyway. Plus there's not much movement on my flist, so no big surprises :)

Ooohhhh - that's what that is. Huh!

I got a little muddled over that question - I thought she'd spelled *journal* wrong.

If you had a lot of friends that would be a handy wee tool, I'd expect.

I must admit when I saw the program I couldn't help but tap my name into it, even though I knew perfectly well how my friend-list stood. I thought it had the feel of a set of scales - where you get on every morning and have a good day if you've lost weight and curl up in misery if you've gained. Only this would be the the other way around - and you'd be forever wondering why you were de-friended - even if it was just because someone was cleaning up their friend-list without a thought to you personally - it would still feel bad. I think you're quite right and it would be better, if possible, to ignore such things.
