SGA - Irresponsible

I don't even know where to start on why I didn't like this episode. It's easy to say an episode is boring and the plot holes annoyed me. After watching this I have to wonder if the writers even watch the show?

First, they killed Kolya, and not in a cool dramatic way like they did wtih Cowen, this was all was very anti-climatic. I expected more from this character and it was such a let down.

I'm also upset about the personal shield device. It wouldn't have taken much to explain why it doesn't work the same as the one Rodney found on Atlantis. Just lazy writing and storytelling.
Basically, i don't think I would have cared as much if it was small plot holes but the shield device was a MAJOR plot device in Hide and Seek....how could the writers not remember how it works?

I didn't much care for Lucious the first time around, I wasn't ready for another episode with him in it.

This episode was a mess. I liked some of the team moments, but the rest was uneven. I'm still pissed off that all the guys got to say who their hero was but Teyla didn't even get asked.

I was very dissapointed because so far Season 3 has been producing some really good episodes.I'm really praying the two guys that wrote this episode aren't really involved in writing episodes for season 4, especially if this is an example of what they are going to produce.

I enjoyed it because of all the great Rodney moments *^_^* I'm easy like that #^_^#

I AM sad about Kolya though. *mourns* I hope he has an even more evil twin.

The Rodney moments were nice. :) but ultimately it's not enough to save an episode from mediocrity.

Yeah, I had much the same feeling, especially about the shield device. Okay, so someone else activated it, but that doesn't explain why it works on anyone. It was probably a later model or something, but they could have said that. Humph!

Don't worry, I know where you emerged from. :) I'm probably going to be moving away from reccing as many SGA stories. I think I'm kind of losing interest at the moment as my interest in Supernatural picks up. Just giving you a heads up.
