Story Update
Feb. 24th, 2004 11:56 pmokay I spent the better part of the day editing the next 20 pages of my Harry Potter fic. It feels weird to call it by hte series title I gave the story. But anyway, I now have part two on the net and I hope to have part 3 done in two days or less. :)
I feel like I'm changing the story somewhat as I go along. it's a lot of fun actually.
Lord only knows if anyone will read it though. hehe there are just so many Harry Potter stories on the internet.
have to work early tomorrow. Another Elementry school. :(

Hi I read it!
Date: 2004-02-29 01:50 pm (UTC)I found your Journal through reading your story. See, someone is reading it. If you have time, give mine a read, it's on the same site and it's called, "What Hermione Wants." Yours is really good. Scary good. What Draco is going through is so real its horrific. I've added it to my recomented stories and as I just said in my review, I think you should send it to restrictedsection.org as well. They'll love it!
I'm still a student. I was thinking about law, and even took a whole bunch of paralegal classes that counted as upper division elective credits. I took a timed practice LSAT and did OK, but when I really thought about what I'd end up doing with my life in a law office daily from 8-5, I changed majors! Now I'm a double major in Education and Psychology and I hope to end up with a career in researching the best ways to teach different types of children.
The reason I'm commenting on that is that I was thinking about you being in a classroom teaching math, and I am a student teacher teaching 6th grade pre-algebra, and then when I'm not at school, and you aren't at work, we're writing these stories being very glad that the two worlds aren't meeting! ;)
I look forward to reading more of your work. I'm planning on reading some of your Buffy and Star Wars work as well.
Re: Hi I read it!
Date: 2004-03-01 01:20 pm (UTC)I feel like giving you advice such as RUN for the HILLs...I don't know if I could be a teacher for real. but I guess it depends on the grade and the students. :)
One of my aunts is a teacher and I think she looks old before her time. Though she is teaching in San Antonio....
yeah, it's sort of strange how many teachers there are writing fan fiction. hehe I still think of myself as a student in many ways.
I'll check out your website and try to read your livejournal. Lately I've been trying to concentrate on finishing this HP story I started.
Take care
