Probably a strange question

does anyone know if you can take Aluminum crochet hooks on airplanes??? I'm debating if I should get a set of plastic hooks for airline travel because I think it might be fun to crochet when I get tired of reading.

When I went to Nashville last October, I took aluminum, steel, and plastic hooks in my carry-on without any problems. I don't think the policies have changed since then, but most of the airline & airport websites link to the security regulations if you want to double check.

I'll double check but I did end up picking up a set of plastic hooks just in case. :)

sometimes an underpaid overworked homeland security drone will take out anything that looks suspicious.
come prepared with a self addressed envelope and some stamps just in case.
