Rat scratches

amalthiahmm the people who know me, should know that my mom in her infinite wisdom thought at some point 2/3 years ago that it would be a brilliant idea to buy some rats for her science class. Well even before they arrived to the classroom I knew it would not work long.
I was right. The kids terrorized the rats and mom had to bring them home, and they've been here ever since. Honestly, the little buggers grew on me. Rats are sort of cute, and we have one, Nebraska who is about 3 years old now, she keeps getting sick. I swear I think my mom spends more money on keeping our pets alive than anything else.
So today, while giving Nebraska her medicine, I had to hold her while my brother gave her the liquid medicine she has to drink. Now I have scratches on my hands. I guess I should be grateful none are bleeding, but man rats do like to scratch.
anyway, thankfully these are domesticated rats and not sewer rats. My brother says those can kill cats. ouch.
Other updates. I'm revising part 2 of spellbound and I'm going to post the corrected version on Skyhawke either tonight or tomorrow morning.
I'm also going through our collection of DVDs and trying to find the special features. So far Andromeda season 1 has awful special features. If anyone reading this plans on buying Andromeda DVDs for hte special features you may want to rethink your decision.
Now Stargate SG-1 strangely enough doesn't have much in the way of special features until season 3 or 4...I'm going to check out the audio commentaries after I finish this post.
also, my Gunbound game is going fine. :) I finally got a pinic hat and now i'm saving up money for a flamingo suit. for anyone interested...the link is http://www.gunbound.net fun game, but I can only play about 2 or 3 games at a time.
Today I'm feeling much much better. My lazy brother Justin decided not to be lazy today. So we rode our bikes down to the lake and went swimming for about one hour and there was a small cliff we could jump off of, sadly the water was rather warm. So it was actually cold when we stepped out the water. The ride home was nice though because I was chilly to start off with and never got too hot because my hair was still wet.
Yesterday I watched a movie called Wonder Boys, I rather liked it. I think I have a small crush on Tobey Maguire. He's not exactly handsome in a traditional sense but I like all the roles he's played in movies. Like in Wonder Boys he plays a gay character, there was some interesting stuff happening in the movie.
anyway, to not be totally useless today, I started to fill out a resume on monster.com I'm reallly reaching deep to find things I'm good at.
