Is it just me or are all the actors/actresses wearing too much makeup??? it looks weird in a fakish sort of way. Aren't the cast photos supposed to make the people look attractive? I've seen better screenshots.

A few pics are okay but I think they put way too much make up on the women and I think the guys are wearing make up too....

I agree with you about the makeup, but even more striking to me is the stiff, weird poses. And David Hewlett looks like someone else almost. The photos capture nothing of Rodney's personality.

Yeah, normally publicity photos look much better, none of them looked like themselves. :( well maybe next year they'll higher someone else to do the photography.

I was just thinking about that, and either the lighting was wrong for the makeup or the makeup was wrong for the shoot. Yikes.

What darkseaglass said about the poses, too. They all look as if they were at odds with the photographer or they all just had a crappy day or maybe just woke up or all had the flu.

lol, the flu....well it's possible I suppose. :) Yeah some of the poses are weird...and that outfit does not flatter Teyla, well some shots are okay. The lighting and the make-up did not go well together.

I just don't know how a professional photographer could mess up this badly.

Just thought of something. Are they airbrushed???

I remember when I got my wedding photos taken the photographer touched up some of the pictures but she didn't take out all the wrinkle lines because she said it would make me look fake or it wouldn't look right.

I think that's what happened to these pictures. They probably used a digital camera, went in with photoshop, and airbrushed the pictures until the actors no longer looked right.

Yeah, the Teyla outfit's not that great, and it looks like she's supposed to be the really sexy one in those shots. Didn't totally work out.

That's a possibility! I know that when I looked at one of the pictures, I thought that someone had run it through Photoshop's Smart Blur filter. Then I thought, Naw, these are professional photographers, they wouldn't have to do that. But maybe they did. Hmm.

I think they did, there's no way that's how they look in real life. blah I looked better in my wedding photo and that was with a rather inexpensive photographer.
