amalthiaI finally saw the movie Equilibrium and I loved it! I can't believe I waited this long before I saw it. Anyway great action, acting, I loved the story idea, and after the first ten minutes I was enthralled. Did this movie even make it to movie theaters???? I have a new love for Christian Bale...I mean I knew I really liked him after seeing Empire of the Sun, then he was in American Pyscho, and Batman Begins, but wow he did a wonderful job in Equilibrium too. Subtle nuance.
okay need to start writing. I'm about 3 days behind everyone else, so I need to write a lot of if I'm even going to come close to catching up.
I think what slowed me down was that I was trying to write a story I thought my brother would like and I really couldn't get into it, I finally decided to write a story I want to write and hope he enjoys that. I really thought I wanted to write a fantasy fic, but I think I like sci-fi more? or the stories that are a combination of sci-fi and fantasy, like C.S. Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy.
