Interesting day
Mar. 9th, 2004 07:21 pmWell Not all of today was interesting. I went to work like usual, and came home, went walking outside for about 3 miles (i'm gaining weight since I finished college) :( My mom cooks too much good food. grrr
So anyway, around 530 today the water goes off. It just now came on again at 9pm. It's odd how much I took easy acess water for granted and I realized it when it was gone. I had to pour my water from my water bottle (what little was left) into my dog Padin's water bowel because we had let it get low and normally we fill it up, but since the water was off for hours she'd run out of water.
And because I drink water all the time, I was the only one with water in the house. It was frustrating, my mom had planned on cooking bar-b-q chicken and instead we had to go out to eat and get Mexican food. :( It tasted okay but the service sucked and someone was smoking in the room and I hate getting second hand smoke in my hair and clothes.
I have work again tomorrow and I'd love to take a shower but the hot water heater was off for hours and there is no hot water.
tonight after my shower, I plan on writing some more, I always feel inspired to write about 30 minutes before I go to bed, and then I have to stop so I get at least 6 hours of rest.
For me this is excitement, lame I know. but it's life.
