Brisco County Jr
Oct. 20th, 2005 02:44 amI was 13 when I first saw the Adventures of Brisco County Jr. I remember that it used to be our family show, along with Star Trek, X-Files, X-Men and if Lois and Clark was airing that year...that show too. :) My dad loved the show, my sister and brothers liked it, I loved it myself and so I have a lot of fond memories of the TV series and I was very sad when it was canceled (espeically since I remember it was cliffhanger ending).
I hadn't seen it again since it was canceled until tonight.
kageygirl had a link to the pilot episodes on her LJ http://www.livejournal.com/users/kageygirl/57158.html
Since I hadn't seen the TV show in forever I decided to give it another try. I should have known better not to try eating and watching this show at the same time. I'd forgotten how funny it was and it's not really obviously funny it's just some of the situations were hilarious to me. Not sure if the bad guys are acting too hard or not but they weren't too bad.
Anyway, I was prepared to watch the show and be dissapointed or unamused, after all it is kind of dated...but I quickly fell into the show again and enjoyed watching the first episode. The show is kind of corny in a lot of areas but still much better TV than a lot of what's showing on TV nowdays. I think for people with kids that want to watch a show together as a family Brisco County Jr is the family show. :)
