Just writing to let everyone know that I may not be around as much this week because I need to start packing boxes for the move to our new apartment this next weekend. Of course I may end up finishing earlier than I think...but just in case I go AWOL no one should worry.
I'm of two minds about this move, can't wait to live someplace new and am not looking forward to the work ahead of me.
In other news, my parents got a new puppy. A Shih-Tzu that my brother named Wookie...(that is not going to roll off the tongue) I'm kind of happy and kind of put off about this because I really wanted to get a Shih-Tzu for me! and they go and pick one up. My mom said I'm more than welcome to dog sit Wookie. ah well babysitting a cut dog is better than nothing. :) Also the Shih-tzu is a lot better than the first dog she was looking at. Never cared for terriers myself though I know a lot of people seem to like them.
I also finallly finished the Valdemar books, caught up on all the stories posted earlier in April, and except for packing I finally have some time to work on two stories that I plotted out for the sga_flashfic challenges. yes I know I missed the deadlines...but the stories are still compelling to me and I want to write them.
I think I'm sufficiently recovered my self-esteem after my last visit to my parents to start writing again.
