amalthia: (Doctor Who)
This is the panel it looks like I'm pretty much going to be missing at Escapade because it's on Sunday and at 1pm and my flight returns to Texas at noon...so I'm kind of shit out of luck on this one.

I've already written and asked if it would be possible to move this panel to another day or earlier time but the coordinator says it's not possible, which sucks for me, and anyone else that voted for this panel but is leaving Sunday, but I get that they have a lot of panels they need to fit in 3 days and coordinating isn't easy. (okay at this point I totally feel like crying like a baby)

However, instead of doing that I thought I should see about finding a solution that doesn't involved red eyes, a ton of tissue paper, and cursing myself for my lack of foresight.

So I was wondering is anyone else leaving Sunday and going to miss this panel but would still like to talk about SPN:Breaking Every Taboo, Crossing Every Line on Friday or Saturday? I'm no [livejournal.com profile] maygra or [livejournal.com profile] killabeez and it wouldn't be a real panel but I think it would be an interesting discussion.

A Change in the Water by [livejournal.com profile] sanyin (Sam/Dean, genderswap, pre-series) I saw this story as snippets as she was writting but reading this story in one go with everything put into the proper order was really an experience. I loved the imagery and the emotions and how this messes up John and Dean's relationship. I hurt for all the guys in this story.

Reverent, Clean, Thrifty and Wise by [livejournal.com profile] dodger_winslow (Gen, pre-series) I absolutely loved this story and John's pov and his interactions with Sam. Great stuff here.
