Supernatural and Stargate Atlantis Recs

I've had a pretty busy weekend so far and got zero reading done. (well I'm kind of reading the newest Laurell K. Hamilton book) but anyway I do have some recs from Friday. :)

Supernatural

Do you see what I see? by maygra (Gen. Sam & Mary, Dean - Salvation 'verse) I love Mary's pov in this story and how their powers work.

Random Chances by ficwriter1966 (Gen, pre-series ER/SPN) I liked the way the characters kept meeting in unlikely places.

Behind a gun I'll make my final stand (or five times Sam held a gun.) by merihn (Sam/Dean) I liked the imagery and each of the five times.

Quicker Than Greyhounds and Swifter Than Light by musesfool (Sam/Dean/Jess, AU) I liked Jessica's voice here.

A Season for Crows by fryadvocate (Sam/Jess, Dean/Jess, AU) I almost stopped reading this after the first paragraph but I'm glad I didn't. I loved the story and Dean's pov and how the story plays out. It's a wonderful what if Au.

Stargate Atlantis

Free Fall by scribblinlenore (Sheppard/McKay) If it were physically possible for panties to combust reading hot stories, I'd probably have second degree burns by now. :)

LJ stuff

Lately, I've been kind of complaining to friends about how often I have to use ?style=mine to read fics because most journal layouts are not reader friendly. And it hit me that maybe most LJ users don't realize that there is way to post stories so they are more reader friendly.

anyway, if you want to make your fics more reader friendly you go to this link

and find "Disable customized comment pages for your journal" and select Yes.

For most LJ layouts this will make it so that if someone hits the cut tag on a fic it'll open and people can read the story on a white background with black text, which is easier on the eyes. I think some layouts don't require this.
