quick question to my flist
Sep. 30th, 2007 01:52 amHow can you tell if you have mold in your house? The reason I ask is because shortly after moving in I discovered mold under the kitchen sink, on the sink basin itself and well downstairs has this weird smell. At first I attributed it the house being vacant for a few months before we moved in and I thought it would go away after a vacuming, dusting, mopping, and etc...(I haven't burned any candles yet)
I think I'm just going to have to call around and just this this inspected otherwise even if we don't have mold I'm going to think we do until I have a professional tell me otherwise, but I really don't want to spend more money on inspections...however I also don't want to get sick from living in a house with a mold problem and I have no clue how much it'll cost to fix it if it ends up that we do have mold in the walls. :(
Seriously, I'm trying to be happy about having a house but at this point I'm reminded of that movie in the eighties called the Money Pit.
in other news, loved SGA on Friday. :)
