Die Hard

Shut Up by fools_game (John/Matt) This was hot and funny which is always a great combination. :)

Situation Normal by petwritings (John/Matt) INSTANT REC!!! I LOVED the character voices, the plot, I laughed out loud more than once and had a wonderful time reading this story.

Supernatural

Some We Never Tell by thehighwaywoman (Sam/Jess/Dean) This was hot.

In other news, I started Due South season 3. First, WTF happened to Thatcher's hair??? Second, am I the only one that finds it incredibly hot that RayK has to wear glasses? Anyone have any first time RayK/Fraser recs??? there are so many fics in this fandom I don't even know where to start.

My Weekend

I house/pet sitted for my mom in San Antonio and on Saturday my husband and I went tubing at the Horseshoe on the Guadalupe River. I had a blast and well I didn't think I'd need sunblock for just going 1 time on the horseshoe but obviously THAT was faulty thinking on my part. So I got a little bit of a sunburn.

Anyways, after tubing we went to this awesome German resturant in New Bruenfeuls and well I ate very quickly and then we went home and crashed. (after walking the dogs)

And we watched Deep Impact (my husband had never seen it) and then I had a scare because after the movie we could not find Wookie (my mom's shih-tzu) now this was deeply worrying because my mom's house is freaking HUGE and the dog is small. Apparently he was under one of the coffee tables cowering. I have no clue what made him go hide or if he was napping and then once I called for him he got scared of my raised voice. I hate babysitting other people's pets because I don't know Wookie's quirks. I swear I searched the house for 20 minutes looking for him and I had closed all the doors so he'd have less places to hide...but still I was very relieved to find him. Didn't want to explain to my mom I'd somehow lost her favorite dog in her own house.

Today, I finally had the chance to vacum the house, buy groceries, and I watched about 3 Due South Episodes. I LOVED Doctor Who but damn I hate cliff hangers.
