too tired for this crap. :(
Sep. 28th, 2008 01:24 amMy computer is acting funny, I have to use the wireless network because I keep getting the network error message saying my cable is unplugged and then it'll say it's connected but 5 seconds later it would say it's unplugged again! This type of stuff drives me nuts. So I spent some time doing a system restore to the point before I installed the xp service pack 3 upgrade? But I think whatever it did fubared my settings.
But to be on the safe side, I'm adware scanning, spybot scanning, and anti-virus scanning. Tomorrow I'll find a working cable and make sure it's not my cable (which is the quickest and easiest way to rule the cable not working out)
Another thing that frustrates me is when I have computer issues my husband immediately blames me and accuses me of breaking my computer or going to unsafe websites.
Generally speaking I know when I'm visiting unsafe websites (this time I wasn't!) and my computer runs great 99.9% of the time so I have no freaking clue where he's getting the idea that I keep breaking my computer???? Sure on the last laptop after I installed Windows 2000 and couldn't really find the right driver for the network card...it didn't work but the rest of the computer ran like a dream and did rather well with Windows 2000.
So my husband gets negative points for making me feel less stressed out when I'm having computer issues. At this point, I don't think I'll ever tell him EVER AGAIN if something goes wrong with my computer because I really hate the blame game crap he pulls. it does not make me feel better, does not help solve the problem, and only pisses me off.
