The Untamed

Title/Author: KizuKatana - Building it back, stone by stone and seal by seal
Author Summary:
It had been over 200 years since the war between cultivators left more than half the land ravaged and uninhabitable and the practice of cultivation punishable by death.

Despite the risks of being caught as a practicing cultivator, Wei Wuxian took on the hunt of a dangerous yao that had destroyed a small village and killed all of the civilians. While searching for the demon, he encountered a mysterious cultivator dressed all in white. Wei Wuxian was excited to finally meet another cultivator, but instead of greeting him or making pretty much any conversation at all, the man attacked Wei Wuxian on sight.

Title/Author: BenevolentErrancy - Stolen Talents, Borrowed Feelings (does it count if they're returned?)
Author Summary:
Wei Wuxian was a borrower, the very last one in Lotus Pier.

It was a good enough life. He kept his little home in the walls comfortable. He ate well. He borrowed any fascinating odds-and-ends that he could find, anything that he thought might be useful in the future, just like a good borrower. (And a few things that a good borrower really shouldn't touch, but it wasn't like there was anyone around to tell him not to.)

But upon learning that his favourite Bean is planning to travel far, far away to continue his studies, Wei Wuxian spies a rare opportunity to see if there aren't other borrowers out there. Just maybe, in this distant Cloud Recesses, he won't be alone.

Title/Author: nirejseki - Relentless
Author Summary:
“Why are we even here?” Wen Xu groused.

“Yeah! That’s right! Why are we here?” Wen Chao immediately chimed, very obviously taking his cues from his elder brother – much to the latter’s irritation, judging by his immediate scowl.

Lan Qiren knew that he needed to pick his next words very carefully. With recalcitrant students, a teacher only had a few opportunities to really connect with them. If he allowed them to dismiss him or categorize him as an enemy at this early stage, it would be an incredibly uphill battle to gain enough respect in order to teach them anything, and in this case, given the strength of their background and the fact that this little teaching session was both likely to be short and definitely completely unauthorized, it would quite possibly make it completely impossible to ever get through to them.

“You are here,” Lan Qiren said solemnly, each word slow and thoughtful, “because your father is an ass.”

Review:
Loved the concept, character voices, and the plot. I couldn't stop reading once I started. Loved seeing Lan Qiren teaching Wen Chao and Wen Xu and the political.

Title/Author: Eleanor_Fenyx, little-smartass (Linxcat) - The Waves are Rising and Rising
Author Summary:
“My doctor thinks dual cultivation would help. Sexual dual cultivation.” Nie Mingjue puffs out his now reddened cheeks, “Specifically as the party being penetrated. It — it helps for the energy exchange to be closer to the golden core, apparently.” He clears his throat. “More efficient that way. Theoretically it would have better and faster results than Song of Cleansing.”

Jin Guangyao’s ears are ringing. He’s distantly aware that his mouth is hanging open. He stares at Nie Mingjue, trying to process if he really just said what he thought he said. Slowly, he turns his head to look at Lan Xichen who — yes, Nie Mingjue definitely just said that, because Lan Xichen’s ears are bright red and he’s blinking rapidly, his own jaw dropped.

Nie Mingjue is asking to be fucked in the ass. For medical reasons.

A night-hunt goes wrong, and Wei Wuxian is scapegoated for the death of the Jiang Sect Leader and the destroyed core of the Jiang Sect Heir. As punishment, his core is taken and given to Jiang Cheng, and he is stripped of his cultivation credentials and expelled from the sect.

What everyone forgot was that Wei Wuxian was wearing the standard issue body camera that each cultivator wore on training missions and high-risk night-hunts. Struggling to make ends meet, Wei Wuxian finds his way to Caiyi Town with the doctor who performed the surgery, a partial core still secretly in place. His application to work at Cloud Recesses is summarily rejected by the hard-edged Second Jade of Lan after an unfortunate initial encounter.

"The child! Where is the child?" He demands. His voice is raspy, like it scrapes his throat raw.

Taken aback, Wangji blinks. "You're holding him."

One would think traveling 52 years into the past would allow Harry some much desired anonymity, but unfortunately the malfunctioning Triwizard Cup spat Harry out on the quidditch pitch in the middle of a game. There's no lying about his provenance while a shiny plaque on the base of the Cup announces to everyone he is 'Harry Potter, Hogwarts Champion, 1994.'

Swept up by the ministry and sworn to secrecy by the Unspeakables, Harry is left to navigate the past on his own. Good thing his great-grandparents are willing to take him in - even if they're a little more into blood purity than Harry had expected - and Hogwarts is willing to welcome him back - even if he's a novelty to everyone as the time traveling Champion.

At least Harry will have the familiarity of Gryffindor Tower to ease his homesickness. Or he would, if the sorting hat hadn't put him in Slytherin, where he's forced to share a dorm with none other than Tom Riddle.
