Doctor Who Season 1 finished

I really liked this story, but now that the first doctor is gone...I'm not sure if I'm going to like the new one and then Captain Jack was left behind! :( I really liked the Captain Jack character and he's gone!

I'm going to assume the new doctor isn't so bad since a lot of people on my f-list are still going on about the newer episodes. I remember as a kid I never liked when the doctor died because I grow used to the Doctor then there's a new guy I have to get used to again and it's just weird.

Um but overall really enjoyed season 1 (even though I still don't quite understand what Bad Wolf is supposed to mean? or be?)

Captain Jack is the awesomest of awesome. I can't wait for Torchwood.

ALSO, I wasn't sure I would like David Tennant either, but OMG. He's awesome. I think you'll like him.

I'm also looking forward to Torchwood. :) as for the new doctor I'll just have to watch the next few episodes and get used to him too. :)

It's a wierd feeling. I've been watching the Doctor regenerate since Jon Pertwee took over, yet each regeneration still rips my heart out. I will miss Christopher Eccleston.

Season 2 starts over here (Australia) this Saturday night, and I am looking forward to it with some trepidation. *g*

I had the same thoughts and feelings after seeing the last ep with Chris. He did a great job as the doctor and I never thought anyone could surpass him. Tennant is definitely fantastic and I think that you'll like him too. He embodies all that is the doctor and it was very surprising to like him. Their styles are different but they're both marvellous.

For what it's worth, Tennant was a big Dr Who fan as a kid.

I would highly recommend watching it. :)

I was sad about Captain Jack too. (although at least they didn't leave him dead! I cried buckets at that point!)

David Tennant is very different from Chris E. but he's not bad and he's getting into the role well. :)

And the Bad Wolf is a huge paradox. Rose saw the words everywhere so when she absorbed the Time-Space vortex, she sent the words Bad Wolf throughout her time and space travels so that she would always see them and become the Bad Wolf in the future. It makes the head go achy if you think about it too long but it does work.
