Just got panel draft for Escapade

Okay I screwed up big time. My airplane leaves LAX on Sunday at 1225. The SPN panel I really really wanted to go to because from the description it sounded really interesting but that panel is at 1pm Sunday afternoon. I think it's the last panel of the day.

I'm not sure what I was thinking but I thought all the panels would be done by by 10 am or Saturday night. It didn't even occur to me that any of the Supernatural panels would be scheduled on the last day because I figured a lot of people would be heading home if they have work on Monday. (which I do)

it's still in the draft phase and I can still see about calling the airline and maybe see about getting a later flight out of LAX but I'm not sure how much they'll charge for that.

basically, I'm lucky to be going to Escapade at all, I feel kind of childish to be so disappointed at missing one of the two SPN panels.

Ask them if they can swap the time. It doesn't hurt to ask

I did but I think the people who have conflicting schedules will get first priority if they are leading panels. I'm just going to have to cross my fingers and hope and call the airline tomorrow and see if there is anyway to bump my noon flight to a later time without buying a whole new ticket.

I had the same reaction when I saw that Sunday panel too. But I am assuming this date/time was scheduled to accommodate the panelists....cause, dude, Sunday = hung over/drugged out/OMG I am going to collapse, you want me to lead a panel when?

but then that just might be me.

hey, I see one of our panels are opposite each other - man, am I feeling the pressure.... produce good panel. must produce good panel.

lol, yeah I was going to save my wild partying for Friday night. :)

I just figured Sunday wouldn't be a good time because at 1pm everyone is checking out of their rooms and heading home if they are from out of state and not staying until Monday. I just know most Sundays are dead in terms of people who are there for panels. I thought they should have saved the wildcard panels for sunday...

Well good luck on your panel. I think I'm the only panelist for mine. :)
