Update on my travels

amalthiaI'm in Billings, Montana and tomorrow I'm going to drive to Edmonton, Canada where I will stay for 2 days in order to finish my homework for school. Or I'll leave as soon as I finish homework but since these motel desks aren't exactly the height of comfort I don't think I'll mess around. I just want school to be finished already! I can't remember ever being this stressed out over schoolwork and deadlines before, however to be fair I've never picked up and moved 4,000 miles in the middle of a semester. Also I'm on my period which makes me very hormonal and I have a cold and 2 cats with me.
I was looking forward to talking to my husband tonight over the phone, but as soon as I got him on the phone I started crying and just couldn't stop. I had been sitting at my laptop over 20 minutes and couldn't get anything written down and I think I panicked and when I panic I cry. It's really rather sad and pathetic but anyone that knows me knows I do cry rather easily. (really I cried during 50 First Dates)

lovesrain44 I don't think I had so much fun in a long time. (minus the school panic stuff) I had the chance to do something really fun for Halloween this year. lovesrain44 sister and boyfriend took us to this "Terror in the Corn" hunted field/corn maze thing and it was really neat and scary and I laughed so many times and everyone had a wonderful time. I even got a snow cone (which I found out doesn't really melt if it's only 38 degrees outside) lovesrain44 shared some of her cotton candy because she's a good friend. :)
I wish I lived nearlovesrain44 however considering all we did was eat (a lot) and watch about 20 episodes of BSG, 4 episodes of Starsky & Hutch, and about 4 hours of music vids, plus 2 movies and half of Children of Dune. We also had a blast watching SPN together. Maybe it's good we live so far apart because it's hard finding tv watching companions that have your same tastes in shows and can see the slash elements in them. :) I still think if Colonel Tigh and Commander Adama were 20 years younger there would be a lot more slash for them in the new BSG series...that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
Back to the eating...when I say A LOT I'm Not joking. I think if I stayed any longer I would have eaten her out of house and home. :) If I lived nearby she'd have to get a restraining order to keep me away (she's a truly wonderful cook too) and neither of us would ever get anything done ever again....We truly do have to live thousands of miles apart. It's all very tragic.
BTW, Starsky and Hutch was much better than I expected it to be and it was truly very VERY Slashy. Though it probably helped thatlovesrain44 showed me her favorite episodes...so I missed the less slashy episodes. However from what I'm hearing the entire show is slashy.
I'm going to bed early because I think the 8 hours of driving kind of wore me out today. And I'm looking at driving over 10 hours tomorrow.
