decided to reformat

I came to the conclusion that it would just be quicker to reformat my laptop and reinstall all my programs than it would be to track down what's causing the pop-ups and removing it.

Luckily I don't actually save anything to my laptop, so I only had to back up email settings, ftp, sony connect software stuff, and etc...

I just hope this reformat and re-install does the trick. I've never been so vexed wtih my computer. (okay this for this year because I can remember lots of other times I just reformatted because I couldn't find another solution.)
