Does anyone know if anyone has attempted to write this story based on the mentions of it in DS9? Quark keeps bring up the story and now I'm terribly curious to know if the creators of Star Trek DS9 even had a clue?

This is another reason I'm completely in love with DS9 again. This is a show that only gets better the more you watch and they are great with the small details.
