I recently got a Sony PRS-300 (the Pocket Edition) after having used a checked-out-from-the-library PRS-505 for awhile. The reason I prefer the RTF format is that it makes it easy for me to go in and change the font size in the file to better suit the PRS-300. The standard Arial 20pt. used in the archive's RTF files is perfect for the 505, but appears too large on the 300. I go in and reduce the font size to 18pt. for my reader once I've dl'd the file. I don't know if there's a way to do that in the ePUB format, but I should probably find out. Also, RTF doesn't seem to have some of the formatting issues I've seen with other formats.

Found through [livejournal.com profile] metafandom. I really love the archive, btw, because I only have internet access at work, and it makes saving stories to read later so much easier than copy/pasting each chapter into a Word document.
