Okay I finished reading the Black House and now I'm really curious to see what is happening in the Dark Tower universe! Jack Sawyer is still one of my favorite characters, and I hope he shows up again in other books. :)

At the moment I'm reading the Black House by stephen king and peter straub...I spent the last four days reading the Talisman and I have to admit I loved it just as much this time as I did the first time I read the story when I was eleven years old. jack is one of my all time favorite characters...so I was very excited when I found out King and Straub had written another story about Jack...however for the longest time I could not get into the story. I guess I didn't want to let go of the Talisman and move forward. But to be fair I blame the odd writing style for me having a hard time getting into the story, I basically had to skip forward about 50 pages or so before the story actually started. And they use this God like voice...and it bugs the shit out of me.

Stephen King is one of the rare authors that writes books that keep me thinking about them for days afterwards...not his newer books persay..but his Dark Tower series is one example, It, the Tommyknockers, the Stand, Misery, The Long Walk, and the Eyes of the Dragon.

I think in a few days I'm going to go back and reread the Dark Tower series and get the newest book..however, I'm afraid to get into the series again in case King takes another decade to write the next book. :(

I've probably recommended this series to all my friends who love fantasy and some who don't. :)

Okay other thoughts on Friday...Well I just got back from seeing Van Hellsing. It was better than I thought it would be however it's not going to stick in my head very long as a deeply moving movie or anything. It was good for just watching once, though I may watch it again just to see Hugh Jackman without a shirt. :) what a hottie. :)

I'm now reading Stephen King's It, this was the first adult novel I'd ever read when I was 11 years old. I remember that it took me an month of my summer to finish reading this book, I spent the rest of the summer reading his other books. And from there I branched out in different directions of interests.

Robin Hobb- The Farseer Trilogy

This is one of my all time favorite authors. I'm rereading her books and they are still great. A good sign. :)
