pocket mouse problems
Oct. 31st, 2005 02:19 pmI have this old pocket mouse that I used to use for my laptop but it started acting screwy, actually two of my mice started go on vacation at about the same time. I got a new one (that I'm currently using for my laptop because nothing is more annoying than trying to edit a story with a mouse that keeps double clicking and moving text without me telling it to do that)
So back to the pocket laser mouse on my desktop. It double clicks everything even though I'm pretty sure I only click one time and it's driving me nuts. I've downloaded new drivers, set the double click to super slow, and I've tried hitting differnet parts of the button. It's driving me nuts because the double clicking is closing down browser windows I don't want closed, opening files I don't want opened, saving a file into the right folder when the mouse keeps on clicking away.
I'm about ready to throw the mouse away and just use my keyboard. Hopefully I'll find some sort of solution.
