Back From XMas stuff post

amalthiaokay this is my official I'm home again post. I had a really nice X-Mas. Got everything on my wishlist except Firefly series (but I got the movie) Anyway, my b-day is coming up maybe I'll get it then. I also had a nice time seeing my dad (who just got home from Iraq after being gone a year), spent some time helping my mom wrap gifts, watched return of the king again, visited the grandparents (which was a lot of fun, watched my new movie Serenity with my grandfather and he got a kick out of the movie).
I also got to visit one of my best friends from college and watched Serenity again and some Battlestar Galactica (I got season 1 and 2 on dvd!!!!) Then we had to drive home because my husband had to work today.
this was a great xmas, no big family drama, some good food, good company, lots of really nice gift top of the list 300Gig external harddrive (my grandmother really loves me), Season 1 of SGA, BSG, Serenity, books, I was weirdly happy about the new underwear (even got these nice spandex tank tops to sleep in), I really liked the jewlery my mom and dad got for me from Italy. Okay I liked everthing...
My grandmother I think liked the latch hook snow man I made for her, my sister liked her bear latch hook thing, and I had to tell mom and dad that their gift is still getting made. My older brother liked the blank cd-roms...and I think my brother would have liked the 20 gig harddrive I gave him if his computer was actually working. I'm thinking of burning some cds with music he likes and mailing them to him...
Anyway it's good to be home, spent the day catching up on stuff I put off at my mom's house and did some house cleaning too. mostly throwing away stuff that's been collecting since we first moved in. Not sure why i had a stack of junk mail....
