This is a movie I need to see again. I saw it before xmas and the theater was one of the older theaters (it was the only theater in Houston showing the movie) so the seats to be honest sucked, and these two annoying guys kept talking through the movie (especially in the beginning) I had to turn around and ask them to shut up, I don't need to hear how hot the guys are, I already know! So it was really hard for me to enjoy the movie because of the rudeness of a few idiots.

But with this movie it was really weird watching it in an almost sold out theater, almost any noise from the audience sounded inappropriate, but maybe that's me being sensitive. I don't mind the noise of people munching on popcorn or their nachos or whatever but some of the audience members whistled a few times and said some stuff that is better suited to a frat party than a movie theater.

This is one of those movies I really wanted complete silence to appreciate, and the movie is quiet so it's not hard to notice when someone is making stupid comments.

Anyway I think I need to see this movie again. Since I watched it the movie just hasn't really left my mind at all...This movie really made me me think.

Walking home with a friend, we were both in shock about it, and it was really the same thing. The theater sucked but it was this movie where so much was said by not being said.

After talking for a half hour about all of the undertones and how many scenes we loved, my friend said to me, "I knew they were going to be hot together, I mean that was 90% of the reason we went, but can I reiterate the hotness?"

And yeah, three really sweet looking queer-guys in front of us made me shush them after the first sex scene.

lol, I know exactly what you mean! :) For that first sex scene I was saying in my head, "please no one talk during it" because it was one of those scenes that felt private and talking would ruin the moment. And yeah they were hot together. :) I was really amazed that I cried, because most of the movie was kind of just going along telling the story but I didn't feel that emotionally invested but I think I was getting there during the rest of the story and didn't realize it until the last 30 minutes.

oh, and now they are showing the movie in a rather okay theater!!! Not sure if I can convince my husband to sit through it again, I don't think he liked the movie as much as I did...though really at first I was kind of stunned and not sure if I really liked the movie or not, mostly confused....but after thinking about it for over a week I realize I really did like the movie because movies that suck don't sneak into my thoughts that often.

Yes. There have been so many movies that I wandered around after thinking, "Well, that's over with," only to have them sneak attack me when I don't expect it.

And to the emotional investment? Yes. I did the same thing, not really realizing that I was becoming invested until the movie was over and we were sitting there crying like teenage girls at a Justin Timberlake concert. The characters kind of crept up on you, where you didn't exactly like them because all they could ever do was hurt each other, but in the end you cared about them that much more because all they could do was hurt the best things in their respective lives.

I think one of the things I loved best was that initial scene where it was so raw and open. Usually sex scenes in theaters make me a little uncomfortable because I so have this latent Catholicism in me, but this for some reason didn't bother me.

I'm just glad I didn't see the movie with my parents. Sex scenes in movies almost always make me squirm uncomfortably.

... I so want to see this movie. I've been wanting to see it since I downloaded a promo for it.

And I saw a promo for it last night on TV and it made me sad :(

If you live in an area that isn't going to show it at all I'd definately consider downloading via torrents...honestly if they want people to spend money on the movie they need to put this movie into as many theaters as possible!

I would so pay the money to see it if I could. The nearest movie theater is at least 90 miles away. We don't go to the city often, and we hardly see movies in theaters. Me and my sister go see a movie and our parents go out getting a bunch of groceries.

Last movie we saw was Serenty on September 30th (kind of a birthday present), before that was War of the Worlds, and before that was Star Wars episode 3 :)
