this is bugging me

A few years ago I had this denim jumper dress....I used to love wearing it and I think in a fit of despair or anger I threw it away because I thought maybe it didn't look very cool or something stupid like that and now I want the dress back and I'm probably going to have to go through a lot of stores to find the type of dress I probably should have hung on to years ago. (though I'm trying not to hang onto clothing because honestly closet space is limited in most houses and apartments.

Normally I like wearing sweatpants and dressing mostly like guys however as I got older I realized wearing skirts and dresses is also rather comfortable too, more so than blue jeans anyway, but I like the dresses and skirts that reach my ankles. I think I'm weird.

Also I'm afraid it's going to take me time to find a dress/jumper? that reaches my ankles, for some reason most clothing makers release clothes that are intended to make people look sexy not feel comfortable.

Not to pry, but would something from Lane Bryant work? I looked at jumpers via their catalog store, but I don't know how long they are. I'm 5'6" and they look like they'd be calf-length on me.

lol, it's okay to offer suggestions. :) I'll check out Lane Bryant. I honestly have no clue how to shop, my mom always bought my clothes for me because the only stores i ever went to on my own involved books, computers, or video games. Only now I'm going to be 26 and I need to learn where to buy the types of clothing I like.

I'll also try finding western wear clothing stores too.

checked out the dresses, I don't think they use denim material to make their dresses. though I did like some of the designs of their dresses. man clothing shopping online is even more tempting than in person. :)
