Teacher's Pet by seperis I love fics where characters are turned into kids and I think this is one my absolute favorites. It's just too bad I read this story before it was finished because now I'm going to be anxiously waiting for the next part. Okay maybe not anxious. :) I love how the team deals with what happens to John and each part has something kind of funny and meaningful happen.

Gotta say, I completely agree with you there! This is one series where I'm actually keeping tabs on.... I don't like hounding writers, as I told Jen, but I am eagerly waiting for it too! I am still awaiting for John to grow up into a teen! I've really really enjoyed this series and it's one of the most endearing kid fic around, not just for its cuteness but for its insight into the characters!

"for its insight into the characters" exactly. :) Yeah I'm not going to do any hounding. Besides there are a lot of other stories to read in the meantime. :) I'm kind of reading both supernatural and SGA and at the same time trying to work on a vid and a story. (okay that's just barely enough to keep me from begging her to hurry and finish) I figured she'll finish when she finishes.

It seems like there is one fic per month but I don't think John is going to go into this teens, it seems like at the end of six months he'll turn back into his adult self and I think that'll be the end of the story, though I do hope she spends some time with John dealing with what had happened to him and I think Rodney is going to be devestated when he loses kidJohn.

what really surprised me is that I haven't already read this fic I haven't seen any recs for it anywhere and it really is a great story.

Funny I actually thought you had recommended it before! I'm sure someone else on my flist had recommended it! Yes you are right - I love the little bits and pieces she reveals to us about each character, through their interactions with John.

I really thought she'd write a teen John because she actually said much earlier (last year) that she'd write a 16 year old John, returning from the mainland, covered in mud who then tries to seduce Rodney! I tried to find out where I read that - because I remember it was in some kind of poll when she wrote Pt 1 of the story.... and I certainly wanted to see that!

Nevertheless, I love the story as it stands and I know she's also writing the SV fandom, so I guess she'd be busy. But it's not often that a story sticks in my mind and I remember to check up on it to see how the author's going :D

Have fun with your reading - I'm not into any other fandoms (yet)... just SGA although I'm not closed to crossovers between SG1 and SGA.

man I'd love to read a story with a 16 year old John trying to seduce Rodney...not sure if she said she'd want to write this or if she did write something? I don't think it was me that recced this story because this was the first time I've read it...though now I'm tempted to go back and check my rec list just in case I'm losing my memory. :)
