This morning I woke up to find that my cat had puked all over my laptop, my portable hard drive, parts of my non-portable hard drives, and basically left a huge mess on all the cables on my desk. First, I'm not happy my cat is sick, second it wasn't fun cleaning all of that up, luckily nothing was completely damaged. My computer room still smells like cat puke and my allergies are so bad I can't open the window...Then my cat puked on a rug. :( I have the plastic portable hard drive plastic protector soaking in baking soda and the rug is outside with stain remover stuff on it. I think I may need a water hose to really clean that rug...it still smells.

If she's still sick tomorrow I'll see about taking her to the vet, I suspect this may be hairball related.

I meant to do other stuff today that isn't related to cleaning up after my sick cat. It wouldn't be so bad except for the smell! My only saving grace is my nose is a combination of stuffy and runny...

I would post photos but it's really gross...

I hope everyone else is having a better Sunday!

Oh no! I have a pukey cat but at least he always goes for the floor! Or his bed at worst!

Ack, oh no, how nasty! I hope your cat is okay, and that you manage to get the smell out quickly. Bah. :-(

Oooo god. That's so terrible. (I saw someone on my flist griping that dry cleaners were considered an essential service and open, because it was stupid, people could go without getting their suits pressed or whatever. And I was so glad they were essential, because my cat puked on my down comforter and it soaked all the way into my bed, and he's a toxic puker, rather than hairball puker, and I have no way to launder a huge down comforter.) I feel like having to take your electronics apart and your rug out are somehow worse. (Once you ever get the smell out, I can highly recommend Folex for any stains--it's a miracle in a bottle, if you ask me. When I get foster dogs, I have to pretty much keep my enzyme cleaner and my Folex bottle out at all times, like weapons.)

oh man, I feel you. I hope she's ok now.

my current cats are not very barf-y, but a previous one was, and the most GNNNN thing was the one time she sat on top of a bookcase and barfed down on me (she was a stealth barfer, with no warning hacking).
