What I'm reading
Apr. 12th, 2006 11:31 pmFor the past week I've been re-reading the Heralds of Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey. I'll admit at this point I'm still kind of getting over all the stuff my mom said...it seems like every time I visit home it takes me awhile to recover my interest in writing again. I'd like to say that I don't let other people's opinions influence me to the point where I have a hard time writing. So re-reading this series is really helping. It's as good as I remembered, though I'm still in the early part of the series. I'm at By the Sword.
I'm looking forward to this upcoming weekend, have plans to visit my grandparents in San Antonio and then head on up to my brother's place to visit him. I think it'll do a lot of good to see my grandmother and brother. For some reason when they try to help and give advice I leave with a sense of resolve to make some changes but don't feel bad about myself. I guess it also helps that they never make fun of my interests (okay my brother does sometimes but he likes that I write and encourages me, and it's good natured teasing)
um anyway, tomorrow night onwards I'll be awol.
