I'm finally watching this series. I downloaded all of season one and I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought I would. I like the premises even though I sometimes think the family stuff is too 7th Heaven. I started watching this series because Michael Welch (the boy that played O'Neill in Fragile Balance is in the series). I'm giving some thought to maybe looking for fan fiction for this series but to be honest I haven't run across any so far so I may not have to look for the stuff. blah.

I officially love Supernatural. So naturally I do what any fan does and start looking for fan fics and I didn't have to go far. :)

One of my favorite fan fic authors [livejournal.com profile] maygra has written two wonderful stories, I think she posted them today too.

Weak Point and A Different Demon

If I find any other good Supernatural fics I'll try to rec them here. I don't think I'm the only one on my friend's list that likes this show. :)

I have this old pocket mouse that I used to use for my laptop but it started acting screwy, actually two of my mice started go on vacation at about the same time. I got a new one (that I'm currently using for my laptop because nothing is more annoying than trying to edit a story with a mouse that keeps double clicking and moving text without me telling it to do that)

So back to the pocket laser mouse on my desktop. It double clicks everything even though I'm pretty sure I only click one time and it's driving me nuts. I've downloaded new drivers, set the double click to super slow, and I've tried hitting differnet parts of the button. It's driving me nuts because the double clicking is closing down browser windows I don't want closed, opening files I don't want opened, saving a file into the right folder when the mouse keeps on clicking away.

I'm about ready to throw the mouse away and just use my keyboard. Hopefully I'll find some sort of solution.

Halloween

All I can say is what crappy weather for the Trick or Treaters. Houston hasn't had bad weather in weeks now, I mean the thunder, lighting, and heavy rain, so of course it waits until October 31. I know the weather doesn't plan to arrive on certain days of the year but sometimes I wonder. Anyway, if I were a kid I'd still go trick or treating even with the lighting and rain, but not sure if parents are going to let their kids out in their costumes.

It doesn't feel like Halloween when you don't have cable tv...seriously TV is what makes you feel the holidays. They have spooky tv specials, commericals advertising the holiday, the Halloween scary movie marathons. I guess I should be glad livejournal has a new banner at the top?

I hope it stops raining soon so I can go and check the mail. So far tonight 0 kids, I have candy just in case but it's kind of depressing. Where the hell are the kids???? Do people trick or treat at apartments???

Oh well, back to working on my going to be late music video challenge vid.

okay I might be exaggerating but maybe not....

I just read this ARTICLE that has me outraged and disturbed on so many levels and I don't have time to go into it. But I'm scared that no one is even talking about this.
