Merry X-Mas
Dec. 25th, 2006 11:53 pmI just wanted to wish everyone a Merry X-Mas!!! I finally got home from visiting family, I drove about 6 hours all together today, from Belton to San Antonio then back to Houston. I don't even want to think about the gas bill right now.
good news, my grandma liked her crocheted hats that I made for her. :) Hurray!!!
My husband's family I think is having a good time in San Antonio. I completely missed meeting my husband all day...but I did wake up 2 hours late...it's completely my fault I didn't get any x-mas kisses. :(
I loved all the gifts I got for x-mas, had a great time seeing my brothers and new sister in law. Saturday night, my mom and new sister made a bunch of cookies while I sat on the couch with my dad drinking screwdrivers and watched Die Hard, It's a Wonderful Life, Charlie Brown X-mas movie, and then firefly. (we couldn't go to bed because we were the ones on hand to grab stuff for mom and sister from garage) Cookies and pies finished around 3am..but I stayed up another 30 minutes to finish watching Out of Gas. Meanwhile, my other two brothers played War of Worldcraft? together. I love my new sister, normally it's me stuck in the kitchen helping my mom bake, next year I need to find her a better gift for x-mas.
This was a really fun x-mas weekend for me, no drama, good food, plenty of sleepy, got to pet and play with four dogs, and I'm home in time to get plenty of rest for work tomorrow.
