Oasis by blueraccoon (McKay/Sheppard) I loved this story because it felt believable and it was romantic and sweet and kind of sad in other ways.

Colorado Springs by ltlj I love this Retrograde versethis story hit me in all the right places. John's character voice was spot on. I loved his reaction to returning to Earth and how foreign it feels and the ending hurt and I was happy that Teyla was there for him.

Supernatural Recs

I'm still completely behind on catching up on all the stories I've missed reading this weekend during my Dexter/Movie marathon. People, please stop posting stories for the next two or three days!!! Um okay lets see if that worked. :)

Love In An Elevator (And All Other Enclosed Spaces) by trollprincess (Sam/Dean, AU) I really like these Rock Star Dean fics. :)

Litmus Test, The Pastry Side of Life, Kinematics: Physics, Winchester Style, and Hormones, Winchester Stye by robin_serrano (Gen, pre-series) I love these pre-series stories. Dean's voice comes across loud and clear and Sam is pretty awesome and funny too. :) If you haven't read her other Shelter Series stories, I highly recommend those as well.

Don't Know Where I'll Be Tomorrow by gelasius (Sam/John, pre-series) I liked the way the story is told and the sex was kind of hot, even though I know it's wrong on so many levels.

Use My Skin by merepersiflage (Sam/Dean) This was just the right amount of sweet and sexy/hot.

Rock of Ages by maygra (Gen, Salvation AU) I liked Leigh's pov and finding out what her power is.

of what is done and to do by keepaofthecheez (Sam/Dean, pre-series) I really liked this story.

Balance by janissa11 (Sam/Dean, Jared/Jensen) INSTANT REC!!! I'm completely intrigued by this story at the moment. Normally, RPS has a different feel but this one doesn't really feel like RPS. I can't wait to see what happens next, which probably means I should wait until the story is completely finished before I read any more of it.

Just a Brass Diamond Ring by lyra_wing (Sam/Dean, MPREG) This was kind of dark and creepy and yet sweet and romantic in other ways. basically, awesome story. :)

Writing on the Wall by maygra INSTANT REC!!! I loved the imagery and Dean's voice in this story. If you haven't readReap the Wild Wind you really need to read that one first or this story may not make much sense.

Kind of need some technical help

I got Supernatural on DVD for X-Mas. I went to play the pilot commentary on my computer (which runs windows XP) and the dvd drive won't recognize the disk. At first I thought maybe my disk is messed up so I tried it on my Windows 2000 laptop and well the DVD plays fine.

I tested other DVDs on my desktop computer and they run just fine. However except for disk 5 of my set none of my dvds will run on my computer. I have no clue what is going on here. I don't want to take them back for an exchange if i'm going to have the same problems tomorrow night as well. :(

I'd really appreciate any and all advice on this matter.
