Silent Hill

Just got back from the movie. My husband didn't care for it and I thought it was sufficiently creepy and I loved the atmosphere....however the story really didn't make a lot of sense and it was gory and I'd NEVER take any kids to see this one. Resident Evil still holds first place on my list of game-to-movie, movies.

I guess the movie was kind of boring and kind of scary at the same time, not sure how they managed that.

That's exactly what I thought. I was, all, WTF awesome! Then incredibly bored by quite a bit. Resident Evil is a lot better.

I really liked the special effects and the creepy atmosphere and the part in the bathroom...shudders. Just kind of wish it made as much sense as Resident Evil did.

Haha, I've only heard of this movie 'cause the boydork wants me to go see it with him. Although he fully admits he expects it to be the worst thing he's ever seen on film.

I also fully suspected it wouldn't be all that great but I had fun watching but then again I got scared watching Finding Nemo....so it really doesn't take much for a "horror" movie to scare me. :)
