This whole vox thing

I don't get it...how do people have time to LJ and use vox??? or are most people with both accounts using one for fannish interests and another for something else?

It seems interesting to explore vox...but considering my shoulders are screaming at me to stop typing. :( I'll have to wait for another day.

I just used Vox as a land grab, as my LJ name could easily be taken by someone else. I may eventually do something with Vox, but at the moment, I'm just happy to be here.

that makes sense. I really would love to change my LJ name to match the rest of my online name...at this point it seems easier to change my online name to Amothea (which is what it was back in 97-2000) however, i'm still hoping the girl using amalthia eventually deletes her journal and moves on so I can claim the name. :)

Don't get your hopes up. The reason I'm karamarie_mckay and not kara_mckay is because even after deleting my kara_mckay LJ and waiting several months, it still wasn't purged and so I couldn't reuse the name. From what I've heard, deleted LJ purgings are rare, wonderful, and perhaps even mythical things.

sniffs back tears. :( lol yeah I figured it would be something like that. :) as it is I think most people know amothea = Amalthia

Now that I've converted my fiction page to an efiction archive I can easily change my name again. Just don't want to cause any mass confusion. :)
