Turning a Blind Corner by cofax7 (gen, pre-series) I love stories about John hunting and trying to take care of two small boys and this one really worked for me on all levels. It felt real and it made me sad in some ways.

edit: p.s. where does that little heart shaped icon come from, i've been seeing people use it in their LJ entries and I'm curious.
