Sevenfold by eighth_horizon (Sam/Dean, wingfic) This is the next part in the Turn of the Wheel series and omg it really has more than just wing petting! :) I can't express how much I'm loving this series. It's a good thing I know refreshing my flist will not make a new story magically appear every day but damn sometimes I wish it worked like that. :)

Seen It, Done It by janedavitt (Sam/Dean) I liked Dean's voice in this story and it was kind of hot. :)

posting recs early because I'm planning going to the movies tonight...now whether or not we'll get in to see 300 is another matter all together because my husband hates going early and it may be sold out. But I'm planning to go early enough so that if 300 is sold out we can still see Zodiac.

well I was at your LJ and I saw a fan fiction website link....I was pretty happy to see SPN because one of my friends pointed out that you write some pretty good SG-1 Jack/Daniel?

I didn't have time to read the other stories but I friended you so I can go back and catch up.

Also I liked your post. Um I know this sounds weird but I get along with people who don't always agree with me and stand by their opinions but are willing to listen to other people.

I've been writing fic for about four years, original published stories for one.

My main fandoms have been Buffy and Angel, then SG-1, now The Sentinel, with a few detours as the whim takes me :-)

And always willing to take on different points of view; how else do you learn anything? I was a bit stunned by how the discussion grew today; obviously touched a nerve; thanks for helping keep it relatively amicable ::hugs::

And, yes; if all my f-list agreed with me on anything but smut is good, I'd think I was in the Twilight Zone ::g::

well I was probably at fault for hitting a nerve in the first place. I'm not as articulate as I wish I could be and I was writing from my emotions. Other people said it so much better than me as to why readers don't like reading stories until they are completely posted.

but I did my best to not name names and really have 10 years I can't remember everyone that's done this. Plus, with LJ it seems like more and more people are posting this way.

However this is the one topic that I never see discussed anywhere when it comes to posting do's and don't. People mention ratings, pairings, titles, summaries but there's not a lot of discussion on how the stories are posted.

and for the longest time I've been biting my tongue not wanting to start anything that may end up in fandom_wank. So I think by the time I finally decided to go ahead and post I've had these pent of feelings for some time now. I don't think my post was that inflammatory and I feel bad that some people took it personally/badly.

Well, it's LJ :;g:: People do that; I do, too, so I'm not casting stones. I wouldn't change it, either; one thing I love about LJ is the passion and enthusiasm.

I read a lot in Sentinel and SG-1. :) But not really a lot for Angel or Buffy. I'm glad you have a website. It'll make finding your stories easier. :)
