essenceofmeanin (Gen, futurefic) This was chilling and I really hope this isn't how the show ends.

Date: 2007-03-15 07:53 am (UTC)You don't know me, and I have only had this journal for a couple of weeks now, but I wanted to tell you how much I love your journal. For reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, I have had very limited internet time for over a year. Usually, after schoolwork, e-mail and paying bills I'd have time for one or two stories before having to run of again. So I'd usually just go to your journal and read whatever you'd recced. You always hit the mark with your rec's, and I wouldn't have been able to find even half of the amazing stories I have read over the past year. You even got me hooked on Supernatural, before it was even aired over here. You were reccing spn stories all the time, and I figured: she seems to have the same tastes as me, so why not? (And then when it did air, at an impossible hour, I stayed up to watch it just because I liked the fic. I'm a hopeless pop-culture addict, to the extent where I went to stay with my parents for a weekend so I could use my mom's computer to download the torrent of the first season after the network stopped airing SPN four episodes in :)
So, as I recently moved out of student housing and into an actual grown-up apartment, I know have the pleasure of paying insane amounts of money for an, admittedly very fast, internet connection. So, with my internet-privileges suddenly limitless, I have decided to take up the good habit of leaving feedback. I always meant to leave feedback, but usually when I'd read a story I'd have to log of, thinking: I'll just send some later, and then forgetting about it. But now I have time, I'm most definitely going to start telling people how much they rock, starting with you:
So, Amothea, I think you absolutely ROCK! Thank you for brightening up my days!
With regards, Ilse

I had limited internet access myself from time to time so I remember how much I appreciated recs from my friends because yeah if you don't have time to use the net it's not that easy to find the good stories.
