okay this author has been around awhile but for about a year I could not find her website and in my opinion she doesn't write enough because I just can't get enough of her stories. :) She wrote one of my favorite Sentinel fan fics and she branched off into Harry Potter with one wonderful story and disappeared afterwards...

Anyway, thanks to spare change, i found her new site. :)

and the two stories I want to recommend for sure are A Quaint Notion and Close Enough
http://www.helenish.net/stories.html

They are on her website and easy to find in the Harry Potter section. :)

She also wrote a rather good Sentinel fan fic called
Not Exactly Funny

What I love about Helen's writing is that her men really sound like men. They are clueless, not very sensitive and her sex scenes are hot. I've re-read A Quaint Notion about 4 or 5 time and I still love it.

*facepalm*

Oh my god, I am so sorry I am responsible for this!

I really really really dislike this woman and her stories. HAHAHA! I don't like her characterizations, or her disregard of canon, and I don't think that she is a nice person. Exsugo, for example.

Not a class act.

I'm glad you enjoyed them, though. I guess. ;)

Well, everything is up and available for the world to see. I'm sorry that you didn't think my representation of it was accurate. I mean, there are no great secrets behind the whole [livejournal.com profile] exsugo thing. :/ You can go look and see for yourself.

Anyway, no worries about the rec: I already read Helen's stories a couple of months ago. I just don't like the way she writes the HP characters. She isn't very attentive to canon, and that's a main criterion for me.
