my desktop hates me

I got a new error message one I've never seen before machine_check_exception

so far it looks like there could be something wrong with the hardware, my bios settings, or memory.

Right now i'm running memtest to weed out the memory as potential problem.

I think I may be overclocking my computer because I was burning dvds when this happened.

I think Houston has been bad for my computer and I'm tempted to buy a new surge protector just to be on the safe side even though both lights indicate that it's grounded and protected.

Seriously, I need more diagnostic tools.
